The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management is the largest of UT Dallas’ seven schools, with over 10,000 students, almost half of whom are graduate students.
The school provides outstanding tuition value, a wide variety of classes on campus and online, flexible scheduling and a convenient location easily accessed from U.S. Highway 75 (Central Expressway), the President George Bush Turnpike and Dallas North Tollway.

Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
A broad array of internship and scholarship opportunities is made available to the Jindal School students each academic year.
The school operates its own Career Management Center, which students and alumni may use in addition to the campus-wide UT Dallas Career Center.

More than 60 student organizations are based in the school. Most of these focus on career development in specific fields and build networking, internship and employment opportunities.

The Naveen Jindal School of Management offers many innovative MS programs for individuals seeking to enhance their careers. Our MS programs represent an outstanding educational value, offering a private school setting and class sizes at state university prices. Since most master’s students at UT Dallas already are fully employed, classes are offered in the evening to accommodate work schedules.

The Full-Time MBA is a full-time experience that will allow you time to really research what you want to do and engage in that world with companies, alumni, and faculty. The Professional MBA formats make an MBA possible for everyone, regardless of your work schedule, family commitments, or previous degree. The mission of the business PhD programs at the Naveen Jindal School of Management in International Management Studies and Management Science is to deliver the most advanced education in such areas of specialization. Both programs develop strong research and scholarly skills in their students and place graduates in academic, research and industry positions.
The DBA combines the application focus of an EMBA program with the advanced research focus of a Ph.D. program. In this program, participants study and apply advanced research methodologies and analytic techniques to complex business problems.

The Jindal School offers certificates through its master’s degree programs, executive education programs and centers and institutes. Certificates are available in two formats, Academic and Professional (non-credit). Students with a university degree may pursue academic certificates for academic credit, and students with or without a college degree may pursue non-credit professional certificates.

Taylor Lipsett , MBA’16
AVP, Private Wealth Management And Portfolio Manager, US Trust at Bank Of America
In his role at Bank of America, Lipsett manages investment portfolios for the bank’s private wealth clients. He says his MBA “expanded my breadth of knowledge across various business areas [and] taught me how to balance a full workload, work with others to accomplish a common goal, and how to network and build relationships with other professionals.” For Lipsett, his extracurricular passion has been all things sled hockey.
Holly Heironimus, MS’17

Heironimus completed her MS in Healthcare Leadership and Management degree and now works as coordinator for Medical City Dallas.
Ernest Lowery, BS’08, MS’09
Assurance Director, PwC
Ernest has worked in the assurance practice at PwC for over 10 years. He has worked with public and private clients in a number of industries, including energy, industrial products, media and entertainment and technology. He most recently worked in a digital role, where his primary focus was helping to develop new tools to be used across the assurance practice. What he enjoys most is working with clients and his teams to complete a common goal.

Shakeya McDow may not be a traditional Jindal School graduate, but her experience demonstrates that courses at the Jindal School can help advance a career. After several years in accounting and finance, McDow accepted a position in the internal audit department at Brinker International.
Pat McCown, BS’91
Partner, State and Local Tax, Grant Thornton LLP
Pat McCown has combined hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit in an accounting career that spans more than 20 years and includes a major merger and two partner positions. He is credited with creating and introducing new ideas into the accounting profession, generating dramatic increases in revenue and developing constructive client relationships. Pat earned a degree in from the Jindal School and says his coursework helped him develop his work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Egan knows what it takes to transform a vision into a successful business. After working for several years in marketing and operations management, Egan along with Swapnil Bora, MBA’11, co-founded iLumi Solutions Inc., and designed an intelligent multicolor LED light bulb that is wirelessly controlled, programmable and customizable with a mobile application. In 2010, they won the UT Dallas Business Idea Competition that the Jindal School-based Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship sponsors every year, and they are committed to transforming and improving how we use lighting.

Weigel, an HR professional for more than 18 years, has worked for multiple Fortune 100 global companies in various roles, including recruiting, mergers and acquisitions, compensation, and business partnership. He is most proud of his short-term projects in Asia and Europe, which broadened his cultural awareness and global business knowledge.
Priya Singh, BS’15
Analyst, Goldman Sachs
Singh, who earned her finance degree at Jindal School, now is a Warehouse Asset Manager at Goldman Sachs and works as part of the Realty Management Division in Dallas. “My current job consists of working with consumer and student loan facilities to ensure loan management and assist with the lending business,” she says. She also assists the trading desk and bankers in New York City. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Singh worked for two years with GE Capital in its Commercial Leadership Program in Chicago and Wisconsin.

Brandy Arbuthnot, BS’99 MS’02
Tax Partner, BDO, USA LLP
In her current position at BDO, Arbuthnot assists accounting clients with their tax compliance and consulting needs including tax returns, tax provision preparation and review, assistance with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions, and other tax planning matters. She joined BDO, an international assurance, tax and financial advisory services firm, after earning her undergraduate accounting degree. Her master’s degree is also in accounting. “My degrees prepared me for a career in public accounting and the necessary qualifications for the CPA exam. Furthermore, my experience at UT Dallas prepared me to have success the professional world,” she said. BDO certainly covers the world, with offices in 167 countries.

Wallace, who earned her MBA and master’s degree in Healthcare Management at Jindal School, assists with all aspects of operations at Parkland’s Southeast Dallas Health Center, including administrative, business and clinical, in addition to the design of work processes, prioritization of initiatives and clinic performance improvement projects. She’s been at Parkland for almost four years.

Phil Neighorn has more than 16 years of experience as an insurance professional and balances his time between working for Marsh USA, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, and mentoring Jindal School students. Whether he is assisting an international client or providing advice to a promising student, he regularly shares his extensive industry knowledge. Yett earned both his undergraduate and master’s degree in accounting from Jindal School, where he was part of the selective Professional Program in Accounting. The PPA offers top accounting students smaller classes along with training in soft skills and access to choice internships. Upon graduation, Yett joined Grant Thornton where his current responsibilities include managing multiple audit engagement teams and client relationships. His role includes ensuring high quality audit execution and distinctive client service.

Michelle Ketsler, whose MBA studies included a concentration in finance and strategic management, is the senior manager for demand management and account service management at Vistra Energy. She is responsible for establishing and managing the governance of Vistra Energy’s retail technology investment portfolio and ensuring approved projects are aligned with the company’s strategy.
David Taylor, MBA’09
Chief Operating Officer, Intellicentrics.
Taylor completed his Global Leadership MBA (GLEMBA) degree, which, he says, “opened up (my) ability to be multi-disciplinary and global yet local.” IntelliCentrics, based in Flower Mound, focuses on safety and security in healthcare operations. As COO, Taylor oversees global operations, innovation, technology and people operations.

Founder/Portfolio Manager, Askeladden Capital Management
Askeladden is the investment adviser to a long-only limited partnership (hedge fund) and separately managed accounts (SMAs), running a concentrated, long-term oriented, small-and-micro-cap portfolio. Patel graduated magna cum laude with a biochemistry degree from UT Dallas when he was 19 years old, and concentrated in finance and supply chain in his MBA, which he completed when he was 20.
